MAY 2022

A new photo session is planned for this morning with David.
This time, we're going for a more chill mood to contrast with his previous, more "professional" book.
So this is an opportunity to have a really good time again.
An idea comes to me: Brunch in the neighborhood where I chose to photograph it.
Okay, let's get started with two breakfast options, which were going to play a major role in the photo.
I had noticed the style of the bar, without necessarily going inside beforehand.
Of course, I needed to get some photos of him here. This environment suited him perfectly... calm, relaxed, chill energy.
Time has passed. "Hey, look at me?" Click.
"Come on, let's try it out, sit down over there and make me dream." We laugh, clack.
Then we finally left and went for a walk.
Another session just the way I like them. Full of sharing, moments of grace...
SEPTEMBER 2022
What a delight to be Back in Aix-les-Bains, my future home, I saw my artist friends again. A breath of freedom blows through Sabrina's gallery, where free spirits meet and exhibit their works, straight from their souls and hearts. I discover a coffee roaster thanks to Stéphanie; the place makes me thoughtful... I feel good in this space with its soothing walls, lined with plants. I eat a cookie and overhear talk of a casting director. Look, a double bass player on the left, a painter on the right. The painter is Julie. In fact, looking up, I discover her works scattered across the walls of this place, both calming and full of life. It's good to spend this early morning in such good company. The street is promising. Free spirits stroll along it. I see faces from yesterday, and I find myself listening to a film buff who's more talkative than I am. A man with a smile who has lived through so many atrocities... A wise and inspiring man who will recognize himself. I am happy and in the right place. The icing on the cake is little Lucien. Julie entrusts him to me for a few seconds. I've barely turned my head when the little one gives me a big, slobbery, toothless-gum-bite kiss on the cheek. I melt. I look at him; he puts his little hand on my face with all the tenderness of a newborn. I can't wait to have my own baby. Thank you, love, thank you, life... <3
(Thanks Julie for the photo of me and your little one.)
